KC biotech firm develops new drug with promise for fighting multiple cancers

A drug being developed by a Kansas City biotech company shows promise for several types of cancer patients. The targeted therapy, called ulixertinib, has been tested on patients with metastatic melanoma, lung cancer and brain cancer.
