Proximity to traffic-related air pollution and IVF outcomes

Environmental exposures are becoming increasingly recognized as important contributors to health. Over the last decade, a significant number of studies have examined the relationship between ambient air and traffic-related air pollution and the incidence of asthma, cardiovascular disease, and reproductive outcomes. Proximity to major roadways has recently been shown to impact time to pregnancy and infertility rates.1 We sought to determine if residential proximity to in-state major U.S. highways and interstates impacts IVF outcomes.
