Supraventricular tachycardia after withdrawal of prolonged dexmedetomidine infusion in a paediatric patient without heart disease
ConclusionThis is the first report of PSVT as an adverse reaction to DEX in a paediatric patient without heart disease.
Dexmedetomidine has been reported safe in paediatric patients. In this report, we communicate a case of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) after DEX withdrawal in a four years‐old girl with no former history of heart disease.
