2015 Bradley-Alavi Student Fellowship Application Window: December 1, 2014 – March 31, 2015 The Bradley-Alavi Student Fellowships are designed to provide an introduction to and stimulate students’ interest in molecular imaging and nuclear medicine by supporting their full-time participation in clinical or basic research activities for three months (or less). The Bradley-Alavi Fellowship, named for the donors—Drs. Jane and Abass Alavi—in honor of Dr. Stanley E. Bradley, a professor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons until 1978 and a prominent researcher in the fields of renal physiology and liver disease. These fellowships are made possible through a grant from the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Requirements The application must be completed in its entirety and submitted along with: -- Current curriculum vitae -- A detailed research proposal not to exceed 2 pages, excluding references -- A completed evaluation from the nuclear medicine faculty advisor overseeing the research (preceptor). -- At least one (preferably two) support letters from others involved in the applicant’s educational/research experience.
