Guidelines for Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albopictus Surveillance and Insecticide Resistance Testing in the United States

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 08/29/2016 This nine-page document provides surveillance guidelines that were developed for local, state, and territorial health departments and cities in the United States receiving Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity cooperative agreement funding. They were developed to improve knowledge of the distribution and local abundance of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes, known vectors of Zika, dengue, and chikungunya viruses, in the United States, and to produce and publicly post frequently updated (monthly) mosquito distribution maps.
