Transverse Myelitis in Veterans: Epidemiology and Outcomes (P6.129)

Conclusions: This is the first comprehensive characterization of TM in the VHA Veteran population. Patients with TM within the VHA system provide a population for long-term evaluation of disease characteristics and response to treatment. Within this cohort, diverse etiologies lead to TM involvement of 3 or more spinal cord levels, indicating low sensitivity for neuromyelitis optica.Disclosure: Dr. Carlson has nothing to disclose.
