Distinct Non-HLA Antibody Signatures Correlate with Endothelial Crossmatch Status and Lung Function Decline in Lung Transplant Recipients
Purpose: Non-HLA antibodies against heterogenous targets on endothelial cells have been associated with allograft injury in kidney, heart and lung transplant recipients. The endothelial-Cell Cross match (ECXM) is used in detection of non-HLA antibodies but remains non-discriminatory for specific antibody identification. The primary objective of this study was to delineate the specific non-HLA antibody signatures associated with EC positivity and to determine the temporal effect of EC status and non-HLA antibody signatures on allograft health.
