Cardiogenic Shock Due to Culture Negative Mitral Valve Endocarditis
We present a case of culture negative endocarditis in a young patient who presented in cardiogenic shock (CS) and was bridged with temporary mechanical circulatory support (MCS) including veno-arterial extra corporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) to mitral valve replacement (MVR) which was complicated by paravalvular abscess.
