Neurodevelopmental Genetic Associations Across the Translational Space-Time Continuum

Genes encoding machinery for synaptic development and plasticity have been shown to play a role in the pathophysiology of neurodevelopmental psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and autism, although the precise mechanisms are poorly understood. As recent advances in genomics uncover more of these disease genes, it is critical to identify convergent molecular pathways to facilitate the development of broadly applicable therapeutics.
