As one of the leading causes of mortality from noncommunicable diseases worldwide, chronic respiratory diseases have emerged as the third leading cause of mortality, following cardiovascular disease and cancer. Due to its high incidence and poor prognosis, chronic respiratory diseases bring different degrees of disease and economic burden to various countries around the world.1,2 Among all chronic respiratory diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) has attracted attention with its highest incidence.
