Tubarial Gland Sparing with Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy for Oropharyngeal Cancers: A Pilot Study of Dosimetric Feasibility
In this study, we hypothesized that intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), which is widely utilized in the treatment of oropharyngeal carcinoma, would reduce the mean dose to the tubarial glands without a significant difference in target coverage.
