Renal drug dosage adjustments and adverse drug events in patients with chronic kidney disease admitted to the hospital: a cross-sectional study

CONCLUSION: CKD patients are often prescribed medication dosages in disagreement with SmPC renal dosing recommendations. Besides explicit factors, treatment goals, feasibility of monitoring and alternative treatment must be weighed when assessing drug and dosage appropriateness.
