TFR1 knockdown alleviates iron overload and mitochondrial dysfunction during neural differentiation of Alzheimer ’s disease-derived induced pluripotent stem cells by interacting with GSK3B

In conclusion, TFR1 knockdown alleviated iron overload and mitochondrial dysfunction in neural cells differentiated from AD-iPS by promoting GSK3B expression. Our findings provide a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of AD.Graphical Abstract
