Gut microbiota and its metabolites in non-small cell lung cancer and brain metastasis: from alteration to potential microbial markers and drug targets

ConclusionCompared with healthy controls, distinct host-microbe interactions were evident in different phases of patients with NSCLC. Furthermore, specific forms of the gut microbiome and SCFAs may serve as valuable biomarkers and therapeutic targets in the diagnosis and treatment of NSCLC.
