Concurrent Alcohol and Opioid Intoxication in Emergency Department Patients Leads to Greater Resource Utilization
Conclusion: Our study demonstrated that mental health disorders, socioeconomic status, and increased ED utilization are associated with co-intoxication of opioids and alcohol presenting to the ED.
