A quantitative analysis of surgical smoke-derived particulate matter and formaldehyde exposure during spine surgery: a possible occupational hazard

CONCLUSIONS: The findings of this study highlight the potential surgical smoke-related hazards that spine surgeons may be exposed to in the operating room.
