Investigation of etiology of community-acquired pneumonia in hospitalized patients in a tertiary hospital of S ão Paulo City, Brazil

CONCLUSION: Our study revealed different etiological causes of CAP than those suggested by the Brazilian guidelines. Using molecular diagnostic tests, we were able to optimize treatment by using fewer antibiotics.PMID:37972649 | DOI:10.1016/j.bjid.2023.103690
