Evaluation of micrometastasis & isolated tumor cells in node-negative early-stage oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma- a cross-sectional study in tertiary level hospitals of eastern India
The present study aimed to investigate the incidence of micro-metastasis (MM) and isolated tumor cells (ITC) in node-negative early-stage oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma (T1-2 N0 OTSCC). The secondary objective was to correlate the incidence with clinicopathological parameters of age, gender, depth of invasion, pattern of invasion, host lymphocytic response, size and grade of the primary tumor.
