Early postoperative parastomal evisceration after explorative laparotomy: case report of a rare and potentially life-threatening surgical complication

CONCLUSIONS: Preventing parastomal evisceration requires adherence to established stoma-creation protocols, including creating a properly sized fascial opening and secure fixation.
