Inhibition of gasdermin D palmitoylation by disulfiram is crucial for the treatment of myocardial infarction

CONCLUSIONS: We identifies ZHDDC14 induced palmitoylation as a crucial node for modulating GSDMD-N-terminal cytomembrane localization and establishes Disulfiram targeting GSDMD Cys192 palmitoylation as a potential clinical intervention for myocardial pyroptosis.PMID:37769810 | DOI:10.1016/j.trsl.2023.09.007
