Factors influencing the uptake of cervical cancer screening among women of reproductive age in Nigeria: A systematic review

ConclusionThe uptake of cervical cancer screening among women of reproductive age in Nigeria is impeded by barriers such as high cost of screening and fear of positive results, and is facilitated by factors such as socioeconomic status, positive attitude, and age. Health promotions and interventions as well as government policies can be developed based on these influencing factors to improve knowledge, attitudes, and utilization of cervical cancer screening in Nigeria.
