Guidelines require strict Lipid Goals (LGs) to obtain the maximal clinical benefits of Lipid Lowering Therapies (LLT). Despite the widespread availability of effective LLT, evidence-based LGs for patients requiring cardiovascular preventive therapy, are infrequently achieved in everyday practice.
