Status of blood transfusion safety in Cameroon
Cameroon is a Central African country on the east coast of the African continent with an area of 475.650km. It is bounded on the west by Nigeria, on the south by Congo, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea, on the east by the Central African Republic, and on the northeast by Chad. A geographical diversity characterizes this Africa in "miniature". In 2020, Cameroon's current GDP (gross domestic product) was estimated at 1,500 $ gross national income (GNI) per capita (151th) with an annual growth rate of 5.9%.
