Giant Cell Myocarditis as a Rare but Important ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction Mimic: A Case Report

Giant cell myocarditis (GCM) is a rare, often rapidly progressive form of myocarditis characterised by frequent progression to refractory heart failure, cardiogenic shock, ventricular arrhythmia, and need for cardiac transplantation. However, very few reports highlight GCM as a potential ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) mimic.
