In vivo imaging of acute physiological responses after treatment of cancer with near-infrared photoimmunotherapy

ConclusionsWe successfully monitored inflammatory edema and changes in oxygen levels during NIR-PIT. Our findings on the acute physiological responses after light irradiation will help to develop effective measures to minimize the side effects in NIR-PIT.
