Paediatric MOG-antibody disease presenting with intracranial hypertension and unilateral vision loss without radiological evidence of optic neuritis

We describe a unique case of seropositive MOGAD in an obese 13-year-old boy who presented with an isolated IH, bilateral optic disc swelling and sudden-onset complete vision loss in one eye without radiological evidence of optic nerve involvement. Treatment with intravenous methylprednisolone combined with an emergency shunt fully restored vision and resolved the optic disc swelling.
