Translation and validation of traditional Chinese version of the pediatric eating assessment Tool-10
CONCLUSIONS: The Traditional Chinese version of the Pedi-EAT-10 has fair reliability and validity and can be quickly and easily completed by caregivers. The translated Ped-EAT-10 can be used as a first-line tool for assessing the need for further referral and instrumental examination.PMID:38653676 | DOI:10.1016/j.jfma.2024.04.010 (Source: J Formos Med Assoc)

The trends of pediatric duodenal ulcer and predictors of recurrence
CONCLUSIONS: Hp-positive DU seems to wane. Patients with male sex, lower Hb level, or perforation at diagnosis carried a higher risk of recurrence, which may warrant active surveillance and endoscopic follow-up.PMID:38644127 | DOI:10.1016/j.jfma.2024.04.011 (Source: J Formos Med Assoc)

Automated liver volumetry and hepatic steatosis quantification with magnetic resonance imaging proton density fat fraction
CONCLUSION: Automated ME-Dixon MRI liver volumetry and MRI-PDFF were strongly correlated with CT liver volumetry and MRS hepatic steatosis measurements, especially in donors with hepatic steatosis.PMID:38643056 | DOI:10.1016/j.jfma.2024.04.012 (Source: J Formos Med Assoc)

The incidence of Clostridium difficile infection in children with and without inflammatory bowel diseases: A single-center study in Taiwan from 2006 to 2019
CONCLUSIONS: Both CA-CDI and healthcare facility-onset CDI (HO-CDI) were increasing substantially in the pediatric population over the past decade in Taiwan. Compared to the general pediatric population, pediatric IBD patients had a much higher incidence of CDI.PMID:38631957 | DOI:10.1016/j.jfma.2024.04.006 (Source: J Formos Med Assoc)
