Processes and outcomes of ischemic stroke care: the influence of hospital level of care
Conclusions Outcomes among patients with ischemic stroke can be improved by thrombolytic therapy, antithrombotic therapy, statin treatment and rehabilitation assessment. Among patients with ischemic stroke, admission to designated stroke center hospitals may be associated with lower mortality through better processes of care.

Incidence, Risk Factors, and Prediction of Myocardial Infarction and Stroke in Farmers: A Korean Nationwide Population-based Study.

Abstract The structures and processes of stroke care provision in the acute and chronic phases, during rehabilitation and societal integration, the needs of patients, and the means of meeting those needs are described and analyzed. Deficits mainly involve local multidisciplinary professional aid, focusing on participation under the supervision of a neurologist experienced in rehabilitation.
