Adapted physical activity and stroke: a systematic review.
CONCLUSIONS: Physical activity and exercise contribute to the improvement of health and quality of life in stroke survivors. Moreover, it contributes to maintain functional autonomy, reduces the risk of new cerebrovascular events and encourages socialization if practiced in a group. Effects of a tailored strength training program of the upper limb combined with transcranial direct  current stimulation (tDCS) in chronic stroke patients: study protocol for a randomised, double-blind, controlled trial
This study will determine whether an individualized strength training intervention in chronic stroke survivors can lead to improved arm function. In addition, we will also determine whether combining anodal tDCS over the lesioned hemisphere with strength training can lead to further improvement in arm function, when compared to sham tDCS.Trial registrationClinicalTrials.gov Identifier:NCT02915185. Effect of stroke direction on plantar pressure in each foot during the forehand and backhand stroke among healthy adult tennis players of different performance levels
ConclusionRegarding an appropriate plantar pressure distribution, our results suggest that during training of especially recreational and intermediate players attention should be paid to the feet rather than to stroke direction.

Analysis of inter-joint coordination during the sit-to-stand and stand-to-sit tasks in stroke patients with hemiplegia
ConclusionStroke patients exhibit different inter-joint coordination patterns than healthy controls during the Si-St and St-Si tasks. The duration affects joint coordination, and inter-joint coordination is limited on the hemiplegic side joint pairs, which may lead to inconsistency in the rhythm of the left and right leg inter-joint movements and increase the risk of falls. These findings provide new insights into motor control rehabilitation strategies and may help planning targeted interventions for stoke patients with hemiplegia.

Within-Session Responses to High-Intensity Interval Training in Chronic Stroke
Conclusions: For treadmill HIT in chronic stroke, a combination of P30 and P60 may optimize aerobic intensity, treadmill speed, and stepping repetition, potentially leading to greater improvements in aerobic capacity and gait outcomes in future studies.

Hyperbaric oxygen in patients with ischemic stroke following cardiac surgery: a retrospective observational trial.
CONCLUSIONS: HBO2₂ therapy was associated with significant improvement in patients with acute neurological deficits due to ischemic stroke following cardiac surgery. Though this fact suggests gas embolism as the most likely cause of stroke in this collective, other underlying pathologies cannot be ruled out. Randomized studies are needed for further evaluation. Post-exercise hypotensive response in stroke patients following acute moderate or high intensity cycling session
CONCLUSIONS: Those results suggest that HIIT induce a systolic blood pressure reduction of greater magnitude than MICT immediately after cycling exercise among patients with prior ischemic stroke or TIA. Effect of core stabilization exercises in addition to conventional therapy in improving trunk mobility, function, ambulation and quality of life in stroke patients: a randomized controlled trial
ConclusionThis study concluded that core stabilization training is better as compared to the conventional physical therapy treatment for improving trunk impairments, functional ambulation and quality of life among patients of stroke. The core stabilization training is also more effective in improving trunk mobility in sagittal plane. This study is registered in Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials IRCT20210614051578N1 and was approved by the local research ethics committee of Riphah International University.
