Prehospital management of EHS in the Paralympic setting employs the same procedures as for Olympic athletes with some important alterations.

Dizziness, stumbling, and loss of consciousness were symptoms of exertional heat stroke (EHS). Two days post-collapse blood tests revealed elevated hepatic transaminases consistent with hepatic injury.
