Safety of Antiplatelet Pretreatment in Non-ST-segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndrome
Objectives: To determine the incidence of bleeding in patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NST-ACS) after antiplatelet pretreatment. To determine the percentages of patients diagnosed with acute aortic syndrome, pulmonary embolism, or stroke after pretreatment for initially misdiagnosed NST-ACS. To analyse delays in coronary-artery bypass grafts (CABG) in rela...

Patients with higher-atherothrombotic risk vs. lower-atherothrombotic risk undergoing coronary intervention with newer-generation drug-eluting stents: an analysis from the randomized BIOFLOW trials
ConclusionIn the era of newer-generation DES, patients with H-ATR still are at hazard for ischemic events. Patients with BP-SES had lower TLF rates as compared with DP-EES, most consistent in L-ATR whereas in H-ATR patients most probably secondary preventive strategies are of higher value.Clinical trial registrationClinicaltrial.gov. Safety and feasibility of minimally invasive coronary artery bypass surgery early after drug eluting stent implantation due to acute coronary syndrome
CONCLUSIONS: EACAB is a safe and feasible method of LAD revascularization in patients who received DES for ACS within 180 days prior to surgery, despite early dual antiplatelet therapy discontinuation. The adverse event rate is low and acceptable.PMID:36929299 | DOI:10.33963/KP.a2023.0066

Left Atrial Appendage Closure During Coronary Bypass Surgery in Patients on Hemodialysis
CONCLUSIONS: Concomitant LAA closure during CABG can reduce the risk of death and stroke in ESRD-HD patients with normal sinus rhythm.PMID:36928272 | DOI:10.1253/circj.CJ-22-0573
