Physical therapists' perspectives on improving walking capacity in patients with stroke: a cross-sectional study from Saudi Arabia.

Intensive gait training with rhythmic auditory stimulation in individuals with chronic hemiparetic stroke: A pilot randomized controlled study

Nancy Byl, MPH, PhD, PT, FAPTA, has been a practicing physical therapist for 50 years. In addition she served as the Chair of the Graduate Program in Physical Therapy at the University of California, San Francisco and San Francisco State University. Dr Byl has been an active educator as well as a basic science and clinical researcher in the areas of wound healing, dystonia, and translation of neuroscience to neurorehabilitation for patients post stroke, Parkinson's disease and focal dystonia.
