Hospital partnership and patient outcomes among postacute patients with stroke
CONCLUSIONS: A greater number of shared patients and a more concentrated referral linkage between acute and PAC providers may reduce potential adverse outcomes in PAC patients. Instead of attaining more partners, PAC policies should encourage providers to strengthen their patient-sharing relationship with their existing PAC partners.PMID:37523454 | DOI:10.37765/ajmc.2023.89401

Rate of Change in 10-Year Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk and Its Implications for Primary Prevention
CONCLUSIONS: The temporal change in 10-year ASCVD risk over a period of 4 to 5 years reflects success or failure in controlling major cardiovascular risk factors and indicates the risk of future ASCVD events. The ∆10-year ASCVD risk/year can be used as an indicator of primary prevention and guide the application of preventive measures.PMID:37470768 | DOI:10.1161/HYPERTENSIONAHA.122.20678
