CONCLUSION: A high degree of suspicion for COVID-19 induced coagulopathy leading to extensive non- aneurysmal, non-hemispheric SAH and malignant intracranial hypertension should be entertained. Thrombosis and bleeding in patients with COVID-19 requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Circuit thrombosis and major bleeding were the most common thrombotic and bleeding events. The incidence of ICH was significantly higher when ECMO was indicated for COVID-19 than for other respiratory diseases. Association of the COVID-19 pandemic on stroke admissions and treatment globally: a systematic review
Conclusions During the COVID-19 pandemic, many populations hesitated to seek medical attention, decreasing hospital admissions for less severe strokes and increasing hospitalisation of more severe cases and mortality. The effect of the pandemic on society and healthcare systems needs to be addressed to improve stroke treatment pathways and prepare for potential future epidemics. Antiphospholipid antibodies in patients with stroke during COVID-19: A role in the signaling pathway leading to platelet activation
ConclusionsThis study demonstrates the presence of aPLs in a subgroup of COVID-19 patients who presented AIS, suggesting a role in the mechanisms contributing to hypercoagulable state in these patients. Detecting these antibodies as a serological marker to check and monitor COVID-19 may contribute to improve the risk stratification of thromboembolic manifestations in these patients.

Outcome of COVID-19 & #8211;Associated Acute Stroke: A Study from South India
Conclusion: Poor outcomes were relatively higher among acute stroke patients with concomitant COVID-19 infection. In the present study, we established the independent predictors of poor outcome to be onset of COVID-19 symptoms (<5 days) and elevated levels of CRP, D-dimer, interleukin-6, ferritin, and Ct value ≤25 in acute stroke.
