Rehabilitation for improving automobile driving after stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: There was insufficient evidence to reach conclusions about the use of rehabilitation to improve on-road driving skills after stroke. We found limited evidence that the use of a driving simulator may be beneficial in improving visuocognitive abilities, such as road sign recognition that are related to driving. Moreover, we were unable to find any RCTs that evaluated on-road driving lessons as an intervention. Static and dynamic retinal vessel analyses in patients with stroke as compared to healthy control subjects
ConclusionsOur pilot study indicates that retinal analysis is a non‐invasive and convenient tool that is relevant to study microvascular changes in stroke patients The importance of retinal changes as a risk factor for stroke or for patient stratification is now being addressed in follow‐up studies.

Cerebrolysin for acute ischaemic stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: The findings of this Cochrane Review do not demonstrate clinical benefits of cerebrolysin for treating acute ischaemic stroke. Change in radial artery pulse wave in stroke hemiplegic patients: Protocol for a case-control study
Conclusion: This will be the first study to analyze the pulse wave of the radial artery (PWRA) on the affected side and on the normal side in stroke patients with hemiplegia. This study will clarify whether the radial artery pressure pulse wave can be used to evaluate the result of stroke treatment objectively. The results of the study will be available in February 2019. Stem cell transplantation for ischemic stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: Overall, in participants with ischemic stroke, stem cell transplantation was associated with a reduced neurological impairment, but not with a better functional outcome. No obvious safety concerns were raised. However, these conclusions came mostly from small RCTs with high risk of bias, and the certainty of the evidence ranged from low to very low. Pharmacological, psychological and non-invasive brain stimulation interventions for preventing depression after stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: The available evidence suggests that pharmacological interventions and psychological therapy may prevent depression and improve mood after stroke. However, there is very low certainty in these conclusions because of the very low-certainty evidence. Electromechanical-assisted training for walking after stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: People who receive electromechanical-assisted gait training in combination with physiotherapy after stroke are more likely to achieve independent walking than people who receive gait training without these devices. We concluded that eight patients need to be treated to prevent one dependency in walking. Optimized acute stroke pathway using medical advanced regulation for stroke and repeated public awareness campaigns
Conclusion: Educational programs repeated each year are useful to the population for learning how to recognize stroke symptoms and send straight away an emergency call. Combining the emergency action with an early remote evaluation by the stroke center team and a direct admission in imaging department shortens the time-to-treatment delay.
