O-016 Outcomes after endovascular mechanical thrombectomy for low national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS): a multicenter study
ConclusionsMT is an effective and safe treatment for appropriately selected ischemic stroke patients presenting with low NIHSS. Diabetes and prior stroke are predictors of functional dependence at 90 days, and prior stroke is also associated with mortality, suggesting that MT should be offered judiciously to patients with these risk factors. CONCLUSION: The present review attempted to examine the purported relation between leukocyte TL and age-related diseases such as CVD and more specific stroke and heart disease in view of the best established, comprehensive, medical and epidemiological criteria that have characterized the focused recent relevant research. Conclusion: Faster DTN in patients with AIS was associated with lower 2-year mortality across all age, gender and race subgroups. These findings reinforce the need for intensifying quality improvement measures to reduce DTN in AIS patients.
