AbstractThe 2MACE score was specifically developed as a risk-stratification tool in atrial fibrillation (AF) to predict cardiovascular outcomes. We evaluated the predictive ability of the 2MACE score in the GLORIA-AF registry. All eligible patients from phase II/III of the prospective global GLORIA-AF registry were included. Meta-Analysis of the Outcomes of Peri-Device Leak After Left Atrial Appendage Closure
Left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) reduces the risk of thromboembolic stroke in atrial fibrillation. Peri-device leak (PDL) after LAAC may affect the subsequent risk of thromboembolism. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the effect of PDL after LAAC. We searched PubMed/Medline, Embase, and Google Scholar for studies reporting outcomes of PDL after LAAC from inception through October 2022. The primary outcome was the composite of stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), or systemic embolism (SE).

External Validation of the HELT-E < sub > 2 < /sub > S < sub > 2 < /sub > Score in Japanese Patients With Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation - A Pooled Analysis of the RAFFINE and SAKURA Registries
