Prediction of the motor prognosis with diffusion tensor imaging in hemorrhagic stroke: a meta-analysis
J Integr Neurosci. 2021 Dec 30;20(4):1011-1017. doi: 10.31083/j.jin2004102.ABSTRACTThis paper investigates whether diffusion tensor imaging performed within 2 weeks of intracerebral hemorrhage onset could predict the motor outcome by categorizing previous diffusion tensor imaging studies based on the time-point of performing diffusion tensor imaging (<2 weeks and ≥2 weeks after intracerebral hemorrhage onset). A comprehensive database search on PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and SCOPUS was conducted. The pooled estimate was acquired using correlation analysis between the diffusion tensor imaging parameters of fract...

Dysphagia screening and pneumonia after subarachnoid hemorrhage: Findings from the Chinese stroke center alliance
CONCLUSION: More than a quarter of patients with SAH did not have documented DS, while one-fifth developed pneumonia. DS performance was associated with a lower risk of pneumonia. Randomized controlled trials may be needed to determine the effectiveness of DS.PMID:35233938 | DOI:10.1111/cns.13822

Safety and efficacy of different tirofiban administration routes on acute ischemic stroke patients with successful recanalization: A propensity score matching analysis
CONCLUSIONS: A low dose of tirofiban, regardless of their administration routes, was safe for AIS patients who achieved successful recanalization with EVT, whereas only IA + IV tirofiban improved clinical outcomes.PMID:35962605 | DOI:10.1111/cns.13936

Efficacy and safety of 3-n-butylphthalide combined with endovascular treatment in acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion
CONCLUSION: Among patients with AIS due to LVO, NBP combined with EVT is associated with better functional outcomes and reduced mortality risk without increasing the risk of sICH.PMID:36184804 | DOI:10.1111/cns.13978
