Influenza vaccination and cardiovascular events in patients with ischaemic heart disease and heart failure: A meta ‐analysis
ConclusionIn this meta-analysis of available RCTs in patients at high cardiovascular risk, influenza vaccination was associated with a reduced incidence of cardiovascular events, cardiovascular death and all-cause death as compared to placebo or no treatment.

DISCUSSION: Results are compatible with a moderate protective effect of influenza vaccine on IS appearing early after vaccination. Age-dependent and sex-dependent differences in mortality from influenza-associated cardiovascular diseases among older adults in Shanghai, China: a population-based study
Conclusions Excess mortality rates for CVDs associated with influenza increased with age in older adults. The risk for influenza-associated IHD mortality was significantly higher in older women than men. Our findings will help implement targeted health strategies, including the promotion of influenza vaccination and early therapeutic intervention for the older population with CVD, to curb the influenza burden effectively.

Thrombotic events following Covid-19 vaccines compared to Influenza vaccines
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: This study shows a significant increase in thrombotic events in subjects vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccines in comparison to a control group.
