Changes of Atherosclerotic Plaque in Cerebral Artery Stenosis According to High-Resolution MR Imaging
This study investigates risk factors that rely on high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (HR-MRI). Patients with cerebral artery stenosis who had undergone HR-MRI at least twice were included. The demographics, risk factors, and proportion of patients with cerebral artery stenosis were investigated. Comparison of Dabigatran Versus Warfarin Treatment for Prevention of New Cerebral Lesions in Valvular Atrial Fibrillation
Warfarin is the standard anticoagulation therapy for valvular atrial fibrillation (AF); however, new oral anticoagulants have emerged as an alternative. We compared the efficacy and safety of dabigatran with conventional treatment in AF associated with left-sided valvular heart disease (VHD), including mitral stenosis (MS). Patients with AF and left-sided VHD were randomly assigned to receive dabigatran or conventional treatment. The primary end point was the occurrence of clinical stroke or a new brain lesion (silent brain infarct and microbleed) on 1-year follow-up brain magnetic resonance imaging.

Five days later, he visited our emergency department complaining of weakness in both lower limbs and dysuria. Feasibility of Cardiac Computed Tomography for the Evaluation of Ventricular Function in Postoperative Children With Congenital Heart Disease: Comparison With Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Conclusions Compared with the criterion standard of CMR, CCT is feasible for assessing postoperative ventricular function with sufficient diagnostic accuracy and reproducibility in children with CHD. In addition to its important role regarding anatomical characterization, CCT is a suitable alternative and convenient follow-up tool that can be used to functional evaluation in children who are intolerant with CMR or have contraindications to CMR.
