Treatment strategy of dabigatran etexilate following the availability of idarucizumab in Japanese patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation: J-Dabigatran Surveillance 2
CONCLUSIONS: Dabigatran continues to be safe and well tolerated in patients with NVAF for stroke and systemic embolism prevention and continues to be prescribed appropriately. Treatment outcomes have not changed since the availability of idarucizumab. Comparison of short-term clinical outcomes between low-dose prasugrel and clopidogrel as part of triple antithrombotic therapy in patients requiring oral anticoagulant therapy and percutaneous coronary intervention
ConclusionsCombination of low-dose prasugrel and DOAC was associated with lower incidence of MI, ischemic stroke, and blood transfusion. Low-dose prasugrel may be feasible as part of triple therapy in patients undergoing PCI.

Statins Reduce Bleeding Risk in Patients Taking Oral Anticoagulants for Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation: A Retrospective Registry Study
ConclusionsStatins significantly reduced the risk of major bleeding, all-cause mortality, and ischemic events in patients with NVAF taking OACs. Their additive benefits should be considered in routine practice and thus be further researched.
