Association between socioeconomic contextual factor, dental care service availability, and prevalence of periodontitis in Brazil: a multilevel analysis
This study aimed to examine the effect of dental care services on periodontitis cases in Brazilian municipalities. The sample comprised 3,426 individuals aged 35-44 years. Moderate to severe periodontitis with clinical attachment loss and probing depth was the dependent variable, both > 3mm. Clinical and economic burden of low back pain in low- and middle-income countries: a systematic review
Conclusion This systematic literature review suggests that LBP is associated with significantly high rates of hospitalisation and costs. As LBP is an important threat to the population, health professionals and policymakers are to put in place appropriate programmes to reduce the clinical and economic burden associated with LBP and improve the health outcomes of individuals with this condition in LMICs.
