Uptake of Recommendations for Posttreatment Cancer-Related Fatigue Among Breast Cancer Survivors
CONCLUSIONS: Uptake of recommendations to improve CRF, including adequate PA and use of psychosocial services, seemed suboptimal among patients with early-stage BC, whereas there was a nonnegligible interest in homeopathy and naturopathy. Findings of this large study indicate the need to implement recommendations for managing CRF in clinical practice.PMID:35130491 | DOI:10.6004/jnccn.2021.7051

Differences in use of complementary and alternative medicine between children and adolescents with cancer in Germany: A population based survey
ConclusionsThe high prevalence rates seem to represent the parental or patients needs for additional treatment perceived as successful and devoid of side‐effects. Clinical care and the physician–patient relation would profit from an enhanced understanding of CAM and a greater candidness towards the parental needs. Safety and efficacy – especially of CAM with high prevalence rates – should be studied in rigorous basic and clinical research. Pediatr Blood Cancer © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Calcarea carbonica induces apoptosis in cancer cells in p53-dependent manner via an immuno-modulatory circuit
Conclusion: These observations delineate the significance of immuno-modulatory circuit during calcarea carbonica-mediated tumor apoptosis. The molecular mechanism identified may serve as a platform for involving calcarea carbonica into immunotherapeutic strategies for effective tumor regression.
