Student loan debt and financial education: a qualitative analysis of resident perceptions and implications for resident well-being
This study aims to examine residents' experiences financing their medical education and how these experiences influence well-being and attitudes toward financial education in residency. We recruited residents from a Southern California health system with residency programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Psychiatry. We contacted residents by email and text message to participate in semi-structured interviews. Beyond COVID-19: the impact of recent pandemics on medical students and their education: a scoping review
CONCLUSION: This review provided insights into how medical students were affected by recent pandemics and their perceptions of pivoting to online education, mental health, and knowledge of the diseases. Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Medical Education during Inpatient Internal Medicine Rounds
CONCLUSIONS: This study evaluated Internal Medicine team member focus groups to describe how the COVID-19 pandemic affected medical education during rounds.
