CONCLUSIONS: Black and Hispanic patients, patients with Medicaid insurance, and patients of low socioeconomic status patients are at significantly higher risk of emergent PA resection and PLOS. Unplanned 30-Day ER Visit Rate and Factors Associated With ER Visits After Ambulatory Sinus Surgery
CONCLUSION: The most common reason for ER visit after ambulatory sinus procedures was bleeding. An increased ER visit rate was associated with certain demographic factors and medical comorbidities but not with procedure characteristics.
