Effect of zinc supplementation in children with asthma
This study examined the effect of Zinc supplementation in children between age 5-10 with asthma attending a medical college in south India. In a randomized case controlled clinical trial over 2 years in which 286 children on inhaled steroids and three or more episodes of severe asthma exacerbation in the past one year were allocated to case (n= 132) and control (n =154). Case group were supplemented with Zinc (20 mg/day). Patient, Disease, and Drug-Related Risk Factors Associated with Phenytoin-Induced Cutaneous Adverse Drug Reactions in South Indian Epileptic Patients
CONCLUSION: The risk factors found to be associated with CARDs in South Indian Epileptic patients are multiple AEDs, comorbidities, and past allergic history. Evaluation of Allergic Reactions following COVID - 19 Vaccination in Patients with Documented Allergies
CONCLUSION: No patient fitting contraindications for COVID-19 vaccination laid down by the Indian government developed any allergic reaction post vaccination.
