The effect of thrombocytapheresis on hemogram and biochemistry parameters in patients with essential thrombocytemia
CONCLUSION: The use of thrombocytapheresıs in patients with essential thrombocytosis causes a rapid decrease in platelet values as well as an effect on hemogram and biochemistry parameters. Secondary thrombocythemia with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction as the first manifestation: a case report
CONCLUSION: After a thorough analysis of the pertinent literature, we discovered that several retrospective studies demonstrated the effectiveness of cytoreductive therapy in significantly reducing platelet counts.
