Assessment of hesitancy to COVID-19 vaccine in patients with rheumatic arthritis
CONCLUSIONS: The COVID-19 vaccination rate among RA patients in China is low due to limited knowledge, misconceptions, and insufficient promotion. Boosting confidence and understanding of the vaccine's effectiveness and safety is crucial to improve vaccination success.PMID:37667922 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202308_33397

COVID-19 vaccine uptake before and after a vaccine mandate at a major academic hospital: Trends by race/ethnicity and level of patient contact
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: These results suggest that while mandates may be challenging to institutions and enforcement unpopular, they play an important role in reducing hesitancy and securing high vaccination rates among HCP, a group at high risk of COVID-19 given their employment and who can be a source of disease transmission to patients.PMID:37517911 | DOI:10.1016/j.vaccine.2023.07.032

Between nudges and mandates: The drivers of COVID-19 vaccination intentions and subsequent uptake in Russia
Vaccine. 2023 Jul 3:S0264-410X(23)00756-9. doi: 10.1016/j.vaccine.2023.06.067. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTDespite high levels of morbidity and mortality, as well as the widespread availability of domestic vaccines, Russia demonstrated significantly low rates of vaccination throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. This research explores vaccination intentions before the start of the immunisation campaign and the consequent uptake in Russia after the introduction of mandatory vaccination policy in certain industries and proof-of-immunisation for social activities. Using a nationally representative panel dataset, we analyse facto...

COVID-19 vaccination status among nurses and associated factors in long-term care facilities : Results of a  cross-sectional survey within the Covid-Heim project
CONCLUSION: The present findings provide evidence on factors associated with the COVID-19 vaccination status of nurses in long-term care facilities in Germany for the first time. Further quantitative as well as qualitative studies are necessary for a more comprehensive understanding of the COVID-19 vaccination decision-making among nurses in long-term care, in order to implement target-oriented future vaccination campaigns in this care setting.PMID:37380898 | DOI:10.1007/s00391-023-02210-2
