Associations of multiple plasma metals with the risk of ischemic stroke: A case-control study.
CONCLUSIONS: Our study suggested that higher plasma concentrations of aluminum, arsenic, and cadmium, and lower concentrations of iron and selenium may increase the risk of IS. Associations of plasma metal concentrations with the risks of all-cause and cardiovascular disease mortality in Chinese adults
CONCLUSIONS: The study indicated that several plasma metals/metalloids were key determinants and predictors of all-cause and CVD death in the Chinese population.
