Associations of multiple plasma metals with the risk of ischemic stroke: A case-control study.

CONCLUSIONS: Our study suggested that higher plasma concentrations of aluminum, arsenic, and cadmium, and lower concentrations of iron and selenium may increase the risk of IS.
